Nevenka Sirovica, age 104, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on June 10, 2026. Nevenka came to America in 1968 and settled in Valparaiso, Indiana.
Nevenka loved her family very much and enjoyed cooking for them and loved gardening.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jovan Sivorica; daughter, Ksenija Crncevic; brother, Slavko Sirovica; sister, Rosa Pajden; with many more Sirovica family members that preceded her in Europe.
Nevenka is survived by her three cherished grandsons, Dragoljub (Danny) Crncevic, Jovan Crncevic, and Milan Crncevic; and one great granddaughter, Sonja; son in law, Marko Crncevic; the entire Sirovica family here in the United States; Kum Gojko Kasich & family; Kuma Dragica Borjan and family; many other nieces, nephews and Kumovi both here and in Europe.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2026, 11:00 am St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, 9191 Mississippi St, Merrillville, IN. Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 pm with V. Rev Aleksandar Novakovic officiating. Interment Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN.
